One time pressing, once they're gone...they're gone.
Fatso Jetson formed in Palm Desert, CA during the early 1990's and are an integral piece of the desert rock movement, which launched groups like Kyuss, Yawning Man, Queens Of The Stone Age, Eagles Of Death Metal, and more. Taking cues from different genres such as jazz, surf and hardcore punk, they created a sound easily distinguishable from their peers and are credited as "Godfathers" of the desert rock scene in part for their contributions towards the music and the overall scene development, in its earliest days. Their catalog is deep and respectable with releases seeing daylight on such labels as SST, Man’s Ruin, Bongload Custom, Cobraside, Go Down and Heavy Psych Sounds. They continue to tour the club and festival circuit around Europe and the United States with appearances at SXSW, Stoned From The Underground, Roadburn, and Desertfest, in the books.
del-Toros formed in Alkmaar (North Holland) in 2008 and would have been the ideal candidates to compose the soundtrack to "Faster Pussycat Kill Kill!" if they were around in 1965. Their sound parallels and compliments Fatso Jetson's but distinguishes itself with their monstrous sounding surf guitar tone throughout each record. Their catalog includes releases on their own Undertow Recordings along with Lighttown Fidelity; this split is their first US release. They continue to tour the Lowlands regularly and have traveled as far as into Scandinavia.
